Hi,

obviously, something broke at least part of my Winsock system. DNS for my
PPP dialup account doesn´t work any more. Instead of DNS queries to the
configured DNS servers, all programs (IE, ICQ, whatever) send out broadcast
NBNS (NetBios Name Service) packets to my ISP´s subnet. This does (of
course) not work. Additional problem: even if I enter an IP address
directly in IE, I don´t get any website contents. Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks
Robert
