How do you setup DNS? Also have made the change in DHCP server pointing to the new DNS server?
What was happening was that the DHCP Service on one machine was pointing to one machine for DNS and the other DHCP service was pointing to the other.
I guess periodically the workstations would check DHCP out and would use whatever DNS server was defined on the DHCP Server that responded. Not sure why that is happening but that seems to have been the cause.
Thanks,
Tom

We have 2 DNS servers (10.0.0.3 and 10.0.0.8). 10.0.0.3 is going to be shut
down to be rebuilt so we changed the DNS settings to all our machines to
10.0.0.8. We did release and renews on all the workstations and they
grabbed the new DNS server (10.0.0.8) correctly.
When we came in this morning, they were back to 10.0.0.3 as their DNS
servers?????
After doing another release and renew to get my DNS back to 10.0.0.8, I
logged off and back on again to see if that caused it to go back to 10.0.0.3
and it was still 10.0.0.8. I then tried to reboot to see if that changed
it - but it didn't. It was still 10.0.0.8.
What would cause our machines to go back to 10.0.0.3? I assume this is
stored somewhere and after some period of time it reverts to the old
settings. This is happening on all our machines, not just one.
Thanks,
Tom
