Can anyone confirm how Windows uses more than one DNS server
addresses in its configuration i.e. Does Windows try the next DNS
server if there is no resolution of the address, or only if there is
no response from the DNS server?

I know it's risky to approach such questions rationally when discussing
Microsoft products, but if Windows client side DNS code didn't deal with
*both* of those scenarios, a whole lot of people would be seriously effed...
