Use one DNS Server,...or multiple DNS Servers for the same zone (like two
DCs in the same Domain). Make the DNS Service on the DCs "aware" of the
other Zones (static Zone entries, Zone Transfers, whatever),...not the
clients,...don't burden the Clients with having to "figure out" the network
every time they communicate. The DNS Server will do the work while the
Client will simply just use the same one or two DNS Servers that it always
uses.
