Hi All,

I have a Windows 2003 server which is part of a 2003 Domain. This server has
4 network cards. This server registers itself on a Windows 2003 DNS server.
But in the Windows 2003 DNS registrations we see 4 times the name of my
server with 4 differents IP addresses. Is there a way to have a different
name for each of IP address.
Example : we have
nameserver 10.0.0.1
nameserver 10.0.0.2
nameserver 10.0.0.3
nameserver 10.0.0.4
I'd like to have :
nameserver-interface1 10.0.0.1
nameserver-interface2 10.0.0.2
nameserver-interface3 10.0.0.3
nameserver-interface4 10.0.0.4

Thanks for your help

Didier

You can disable dynamic DNS for one or more adapters - See:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;246804

Then manually create host records with any name you want.
