DNS problems on wireless network

I have a Netgear MR814 wireless router/switch and a
wireless USB adapter (MA111) installed on my Windows Me
machine. I have a very good connection to the router but
I am unable to resolve a DNS quickly. The browser takes a
very long time to pull up a web page and usually times
out. I can ping IP addresses and receive proper responses
but if I ping a domain name, it just sits there.

I have worked with Netgear support and changed the
configuration many times and always the same problem.

Has anyone seen this or does anyone have a solution?

Thanks in advance.
