DNS and ScavengingStale Records

Hi all, just wondering if I can obtains ome help here in regards to the above
topic.

If you enable scavenging on the forward and reverse lookup zones, does it
alao need to be enabled on the server as well for this to function correctly.

We currently have the above scenario but it is not enabled on the server and
it is not working and I ma thinking this is why.

Any help is most appreciated.

Yes - you need to enable this at the server level. You can vary the aging
period by zone. See:
