DNS and Scavenging

I am trying to set up automatic scaveging on my DNS server and would like to
know what a good period is for the no-refresh interval and the refresh
interval. I have some remote users who connect via a VPN connection. Right
now these IP addresses are staying in DNS so I'm ending up with duplicate
DNS/IP records. This is causing me a problem when trying to remote control
one of these workstations via SMS 2003.

I want to make sure things get eliminated timely but not so much that I
impact performance.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Nancy

Hi Nancy --

Just thought I would suggest that you post this question to
microsoft.public.windows.server.dns since nobody has responded in this
group.

Thanks --
