Dlink ; Total failure between a 624 and a 514

Dlink ; Total failure between a 624 and a 514 ; we set these up 2 feet
apart ( too close ???) ; had one as 192.168.0.1 the other as 0.2 ; could
not ping ; the 624 logs showed no data sent or received ; the 514 showed
data sent .

I assume , newbie at wireless that I am , that these SOULD have
communicated , no ?

Depends.. They have to be on the same SSID.
WEP on or off ?

Not too close.

What is the config on both units?
