DLink DWL-700AP Client mode

Hi,

There's virtually no documentation from D-Link that I can find about
this router's client mode. Can anyone help me with the set up of this?

I've tried setting it up and it's connecting to my existing AP fine
(belkin device) and I can access the 700AP from the PC I'm trying to
use... however, I can't access the network at all from either end.
I've tried pinging the D-Link's IP from the existing network and I've
tried pinging the network from the PC I'm trying to connect. How does
it need to be set up as it seems like I'm doing something fundamentally
wrong here.
