DLink DI-614+ (rev A) US firmware on UK model - safe?

I have a UK DI-614+ with f/ware 2.32 which crashes quite frequently. I
notice on the US DLink support web site that there is a 2.33 version which
fixes a known crashing bug, but there's a scary warning that US f/ware
should only be used on US models. The UK site only has 2.32 :-(

So... has anyone tried US f/ware on a UK model - does it work or not?

The best bet will be to ringup/email dlink UK and ask them. if they say no,
tell them about the issue and ask to upgrade the firmware.
I told zyxel about the bugs in my modem/router firmware, now waiting for
them to update the firmware. Not sure how long this will take but they
promised that they will witin 2-3 weeks. Also I gave them full description
of where the bug is with screen shots, so dlink may want that kind of thing
too.
