Happy New Year

I have a DCF-660W in my ACER N10 and make connections to my router Linksys
54g
I have installed Pocket PC 2003 with the beta drivers of D-link

Suppose I am connected.
When I switch OFF and ON my Acer N10 or I remove the card and plug it in
again, then it is unpredictable if I will have my connection back again.

In the menu Configure Wireless Networks the connection disappears
completely.
After some time I see my SSID again in the status Available and then it
disappears again.

After some trial and error I get it on again to Available and Connected, but
I cannot find a pattern.
I am quite sure it it is not my Linksys router (1 meter distance)

Has anyone a similar experience? And is there a way to get the connection
each time again in a predictable way.
Are their Pocket PC programs available to test if the CF card is connected
and operationg well?

My profession is reliability engineer of radars, so you can imagine that
this way of working frustrates me very much.

I've seen that. Never twice in a row, though, not that I can remember
and not while I just tried it a dozen times. When this happens, the
card never gets an IP# from what I see. You may want to use the 2002
driver and see if that makes it better. The 660W 2002 driver does
work here for PPC2003. You don't get WZC but you may not miss it.

2003 WZC requires APs to broadcast SSID. It sort of works (I think,
or maybe that was XP WZC) if you don't but not very well, dropping
and then losing forever the connection.
