does the 714P+ support daylight savings time?

the router syncs with an NTP server and sets the hour 1 hour early while I
am in daylight savings time (+1 hour)
(I have set the correct GMT time zone)

Nope. Well, at least mine doesn't. I've switched to a adjacent time zone
to get it right. The 614+ (according to its manual) has a daylight
savings option on its time administration page. The 714's time
administration page looks similar but lacks the necessary switch.

On another issue, I started with firmware 1.22 and am now at 1.23. I'm
having major problems when I loose the wireless connection. It just
doesn't come up again. If you use Maximum Power Save while receiving a
large file (to provoke a drop), does your wireless come back on line, or
is it dead until reboot, like mine?

Regards,
/Micke

I don't know, I haven't used it long enough yet. I'm having other problems
with 1.23 (taiwan version)

Sweden. It seems to have been put on the UK ftp site on June 15th (the
manual is still 1.0 though). The Swedish dlink site offers v 1.23.

It should be possible to downgrade...

I have a Linux box as a small fileserver. When the W2k laptop is
fetching a 64MB file at 4Mbit/s the router's writeless dies. If one
checks the packet counter on the 714, it no longer receives packets but
appears to occasionally send some. Since this is my second 714 I really
think this smells like a nasty bug in the firmware (both in 1.22 &
1.23). I suspect most people won't run into this if they only access the
Internet with their 714s.

Cheers,
/Micke
