The security you implement on the router has to be the lowest common
denominator of the clients with which you need to access it.
b vs g and WEP vs WPA are two separate, orthogonal issues.
So long as the b card you use is working with a WPA supplicant (such
as Funk software's wpa supplicant), you should be able to run mixed
mode just fine with WPA.
