DLink 624 mac address size?

Hi,
Looking to extend range of our wifi system in our library.
Currently using Linksys with wep and mac filtering. Bought a few dlink
repeaters and later found out they are propritary and don't work with
linksys.
So looking into Dlink 624 extreme. Problem is no-one can tell us how
many mac addresses system can handle. Linksys is 40 but so far not
even dlink support knows the answer. I would drop mac filtering/wep
but heard win98 doesn't support wpa without hassle and I can't dump
that problem on our students.
