My current setup for home networking is cable modem running into a
DLink 604 router which shares the connection over several computers
via ethernet -- fine works great.

I'm moving into another house that has the current setup of Cable
Modem running into a WiFi router with several computers hooked up
using WiFi cards -- fine works great.

I have two computers, one laptop, one desktop I plan to have in the
same room that currently have ethernet cards but no WiFi cards. I see
that the DLink 614+ router is on sale for about $20 after rebates and
I was hoping I could hook both my machines to it via the current
ethernet cards and get this router to "talk" with the other wireless
router in the house that is physically connected to the cable modem.
Will this work? Thanks for any input.

Nope... Use an DWL-800AP+ feeding the DI-604...
