Dlink 614+ router and Linksys USB wireless adapter

I added another computer to my network and got connected to my network but
kept losing my internet connection.

When I moved the computer closer to my wireless router, I stay connected
to the internet. Is there anything I can do to keep the connection as I
move farther away? If the computer remains connected to the network,
shouldn't the internet connection remain?
