DL-604 Ehternat BroadBand Router

My DL-604 router periodically disconnects me and girlfriend from her dsl modem.. I have the modem on it's WAN port and configured for dsl but it still refuses to hold a connection. With this router, it sometimes even finds viewable pages and unviewable... I finally reverted to a D-Link Switch but would rather not use it. I would like to use the Router... any help would be great - thx
