Are disk-spanning virtual shared folders possible?

I have 2.4 TB of media storage on 10 physical drives in 2 computers.
Ideally, I would like to combine them into one large RAID drive, but I
know this is not possible. My next best solution is to find some way
to create virtual folders that can contain files from multiple physical
drives. Is there any way to do this? Is there some utility that will
"serve" files over a windows network in a directory structure of my
creation, independant of where the files actually are? Does anything
like this exist, or am I SOL?
