Just found a possible reason for disconnects ie unable to connect ....
network resource unavailable...The culprit computer has a VIA chipset. The
VIA website has a USB Filter patch that "fixes the issue when transferring
large of amounts of data, the system will hang. " The network card shares an
IRQ with the USB controller, so we'll give it a try tomorrow and find out.
10 half duplex seems to work okey, but any thing higher causes problems.

Using
Peer to peer
ICS
Realtek 8139 nic (internet) 10 half duplex
Linksys LNE100TX (lan) 10 full duplex
9 clients with Linksys 10 full duplex
Linksys switch
Window 98
