Disconnection Problem

I have two laptops with built-in wireless cards. I have made a wireless
connection between them with no security and data encryption. But the
wireless connection disconnects by itself after a few minutes and then try to
reconnect automatically. This happens even if the two laptops are very close
to each other like on one table. The signal quality is excellent. I have
tried to use both automatic and static ip addresses on both the laptops but
same problem.

It has to be static IP in both, and bot have to be configured to Ad-Hoc
Mode.
