"Disconnected" Error in Internet Explorer on Wireless Network

IE: The page cannot be displayed (WI-FI)

I have an HP laptop running on windows XP Home Edition, the wireless icon on
the taskbar shows that it is connected however when I browse on Internet
Explorer, it wont connect, the page cannot be displayed.
