Disabling the Logon for Microsoft Networking

I am using an old Windows 98 PC as a printer server for my home LAN.

Cold boots and restarts require me to enter my Microsoft Networking Logon
Password.

Is there any way to disable (or bypass) this feature such that when the PC
starts or restarts no manual input is needed before the desktop comes up?

Thanks!

The reason it is asking for a password is the "Client for Microsoft
Networks" is installed. You could cancel the login (or remove the
client all together) but then the computer would not be able to connect
to the network or act as a print server.

Try adding the Microsoft Family Logon (and removing the Client for MS
Networks) and see if you still can share the printer. With only one
user and a blank password, the MS Family Logon will not ask for your
password. Not sure if you can share a printer with it though.
