When trying to disable my wireless connection ( while the wire is connected)

"It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection
may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it
may have been initiated by another user or system account"

I had to disabled the "Wireless Zero Configuration" service and reboot.

What is the cause and when can be done ?

Hi

If you want to disable it permanently, disable the Wireless card in the
device manager.

Otherwise you can change the metrics of the TCP/IP Stack giving priority to
the Wired connection and leave the Wireless as is,

Hi
I answered whatever I could understand.
May be if you would clarify further what you would like to do?
