disable/unistall network connection

Hi guys
My PC " Win Me" was in my father's office and had a
network connection with the other pc in his office....Now
i got one of these PC here in my home and i'd like to
know "if possible" how to disable or unistall the network
setting is here on my pc,because i think this setting is
the cause of a seires of problems i have with my
pC..........thanx in advance for ur answer
