I have a single home computer that is not hooked up to any
other computer unless I use the modem. Every time I
startup my computer and/or connect to the internet, I get
a prompt for me to enter a microsoft networking password.
I don't know what this means. I then push cancel and the
prompt goes away, and I continue with no problem on the
computer. I am just sick of seeing this prompt. I think
it has something to do with my reinstalling the operating
system. When I first reinstalled it, the
username/password prompt appeared and instead of pushing
cancel or something and never seeing it again as the DELL
computer guy instructed, I entered my name in the Username
space, and then pushed either ok or cancel without
entering a password. Well now I can't get rid of this
prompt and I have no use for it. HELP!!!!
