disable firewall

How can u disable firewall in windows Millennium
Edition...or rather do a file transfer from my windows xp
to his windows me. Can someone please assist me and my
client on this problem. Thanks..and happy new year!

Windows Millennium doesn't have a built-in firewall, so someone must
have installed a firewall program -- ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet
Security, Kerio, Sygate, etc. There's probably an icon for the
firewall program in the system tray that will let you access the
program's settings.
