Disable broadcast ssid and wpc11 v3

I am running a Linksys BEFW11S4 v2 router at home. In the past I have
disabled the broadcast of my ssid with no problems using a wpc54g and wpc11
v1. I recently upgraded the wpc11 card to a version 3. However, I can not
get the new wpc11 v3 card to see my router when the ssid broadcast is
disabled. Everything works fine if I broadcast my ssid. I am using XPs zero
configuration utility. Has anyone run into the same problem? And found a
solution?

You are not alone. We had a thread going about this just a short time ago.

I'm running Win2K with a WPC11 v4 and a v3.2 router... Same problem. In
fact, my work laptop can't connect either. It has a built-in Prism 2.5
mini-pci card.

I just (a few minutes ago) finished resetting my router and reloading all
the settings. No help.
