Hi John,
Can you give us more information? How about IP, subnet mask (subnet mask
should be same on both servers) and default gateway configuration?
* Can both servers ping default gateway?
* Is e.g. personal firewall enabled on servers (probably not but just
checking)
* If you ping server B from server A and then run
arp -a
on server A do you see IP and MAC address of server B? How about the other
way around?
Few other things to check:
* network cards
* cabels
* switches
* ...
