different brands of equipment

What are the groups thoughts on using different brands of hareware in a
wireless network? I am trrying to connect two building about 1100 feet
apart. Using D-Link on one end and Netgear on the other. Will be used for
small file sharing printing and internet access.

Usually no problems, except Netgear which is often faulty.
