Hi All,

I am trying to find out difference between ip and ifconfig command for
configuring ipv6 address alias.

Cause we have one redhat linux running with ip is not able to configure 300
ipv6 aliases while system running with ifconfig is able to do it.

Please let me know if any one can help in identifying the problem.

Thanks ....Parthiv
