I have a home network which shares its internet connection through a
netgear broadband router wgt634u.
Broadband isnt available in my area.
Current Setup
In the router settings
Ip Address 192.168.0.254
IP Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Starting ip Adress 192.168.0.2
Ending ip Adress 192.168.0.3
On the laptop which has a dialup 56k modem
Ip address 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway <----BLANK--->
All these settings were given to me by netgear and work fine
Any pc i want to add to the network is added simply by setting their
ip address to be assigned automatically.
The router is designed to be used as a broadband router and has a nat
and spi firewall built in.
My question is can i get all the pc's connected to the internet
through the router including the one dialing up to the internet to go
through the firewall built into the router? If so what settings do i
need?
