Dial up Problems (missing files)

I bought a used notebook (Dell Latitude) on eBay.
It has windows 98.
When I was going through the IE setup wizard, I kept getting lots of
"Missing file" errors. I looked up the first dozen or so and they are all
related to the dial up and networking functions (naturally). There was an
option button to skip those files, so I clicked it over and over and finally
got to the end of the wizard.

Now if I click the big blue 'e' icon to launch IE, the thing will dial up
and connect, but I always get a "Page not found" error. When I use a
different computer with same settings, all is okay.

I think I need to find and download a package that is complete for internet
dial up for Win 98. Is there such a thing?

Are there any other options?

Steve

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough in the above post.
The computer did not come with the Win 98 program disk(s).
The operating system was already on the drive. It seems to be working just
fine.
I installed the Microsoft Office 2000 suite (which includes Outlook).
When I tried to run Outlook, I got the connection wizard and all my problems
started.

Since I don't have the 98 installation disks, I was thinking that maybe I
could download a package that includes all the necessary files for
connecting to the internet via dial up.

do a search on your drive for files ending with *.cab...those are your
install files for win98

Okay!
I found 117 folders in C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS
Now, is there some way I can initialize all these things so that the
"Connect" Wizard will be able to find them?

I am daunted at the thought of typing in this path every time the wizard
says "File not Found" (which is about 30 or so)

Again, I need to clarify:

I cannot find and run the same wizard that asked me where all the files
were. Apparently it only runs once when you run the thing for the very first
time after install and then goes away somewhere. So, for the time being, all
those files are marked as "Skipped" are still being thought of as skipped.

A search for "Wizard" only brings up the regular connection wizards, not the
first one I was dealing with.
