When I go to the Add/Remove programs, and click on
Windows, under communications, it says that DUN is
installed, but takes up 0.0 mgs. I have removed and
added it several times, but it never seems to take, and
my Verizon DSL software won't run without it. The folks
at Verizon who figured it out didn't seem all that
suprised, and said it happens all the time, all I need to
do is rerun setup. Unfortunately, it's a Compaq, and I
don't have the original software, just a "quick restore"
disk, which terrifies me.

Is there a patch?

(Millenium Edition)

have you added it and tried to go ahead and install it
anyway? some files are so small that the windows
measureing system just labels them at 0/0 megs. try
installing it anyway. I may be misunderstanding you, if
you have tried it and it hasn't worked, than I have no
idea, but if that is the case than how do you know it
isn't working?
