Dial-up & Wireless Router

Is it possible to use a wireless router/modem with a dial up connection?

probably, an access point may be simpler - use a crossover cable to
connect it to the ethernet port of a PC equipped with the dialup modem
and using internet connection sharing.

there was a Medion (?) unit on sale at Aldi that was an ADSL
modem/router with 56k dialup backup.

may be the odd device around that will run a serial port modem

A quick Google suggests that these are capable of using a serial
modem:

Probably others too.

Of course you could always use an old Pentium PC with routing
software, a modem and a PCI WiFi card.

I've used a Linksys broadband router on a dial-up connection with no
problems, but it may depend on the router.

I wouldn't expect it to be possible with a modem, since you need a
different modem for dial-up and broadband.
