di 624 low signal

hi
I have had a di624 dlink wireless router for couple of years. in the
last 3 months the signal strength on the router has decreased. I cannot
use it productively today. i have had the same wireless cards on the
laptop and desktop in the last 2 years.
now even if i keep my laptop 5 feet from router, i get low signal and
no proper connectiity. i have upgraded my firm ware too and get no
better results.

help.

Have the antenna come loose?

I would suspect a new source of interference. Did you or a nearby
neighbot recently purchase a new 2.4Ghz phone? Have you tried switching
to another channel to see if that solves the problem?
