Found the reset button, should i give it a go at resetting? nothing is
mentioned in the pdf notes.

Finally do i need to enter a static or dynamic IP if i get a new router,
that bits got me fizzled.

How about telling us what the problem is?

As psoted before, lan down expect this pc where its had its ip and submask
changed to direct to BY, this machine suddenly cant see any other on the
lan, plugged direct into router also or hub.

So the new router connects to BY. i read way too much info and got confused.

i did fonr dlink support but couldnt understand a word he said from India
and he didnt seem to know anything which made 2 of us

BY cannot change your PC settings.
