DI-524 Static IP while in DHCP

I have a real annoying trouble with my new DI-524 rev. E3.

This model has a feature allowing a cartain MAC address to always be
assigned the same IP address. However, while trying to configure this
option, I always get an error message telling me the MAC address is in
the wrong format. I also tried the "Clone" button and it still
displayed the same error message.

Anyone had success configuring this option.

Thanks !

Mathieu

Mathieu:

Wouldn't it be easier to restrict the DHCP range in your IP address range?
Then you can simply assign those computers to specific IP addresses. (You
will likely need to get the DNS addresses your router has been assigned and
input those as well.

I have a DI-624 and use the "static DHCP" feature without problems.

Are you perhaps including characters other than 0123456789abcdef
(or upper-case letters) in the IP address? (e.g., letter O instead
of digit 0).
