DhcpGetClientInfo causes error 1783

hi,

calling the DhcpGetClientInfo(...) always leads to the errorcode 1783, if
the target host is a windows 2008 64-bit system.

the host calling this function is a windows 2003 32-bit system.

if the target host is a windows 2008 32-bit system the call works fine.

imho code 1783 means a marshalling error.
is there an incompatibility between RPC marshalling on 32-bit and 64-bit
windows systems?
