Hi all,

I'm trying to set up 2 dhcpd daemons on 2 PCs.
The first feature I need is to use bootp, i.e. the fact to assign the same IP to a well-known MAC address.
But the ISC developers community says that you can not have failover and bootp working together. They say it's not a
DHCPD daemon problem but the "conflict" comes from the specifics.
I didn't go deeply in to this issue, but briefly my question is: can the failover and bootp features co-exist together?
I hope to have understood wrongly and that someone says the opposite maybe with work-around.

Thanks

Alex.
