Hello,

bootp can supply parameters to the image file in the image path.
Therefore in my bootptab-file there are some entries like

:hd=/tftpboot/clients_3_:bf=vmlinuz.clnt:

which leads on the client side to

"vmlinux.clnt 3"

Is it possible to do that with dhcp3
(I need it for some win$ clients) ?

The options

option root-path "/tftpboot/clients"
filename "vmlinuz.clnt"

work, but what about the parameter ("3" in this case) ?

Any ideas are welcome
Best Regards
Robert
