Hi,

I'm using DHCP and have configured the server options for WINS. On some
clients WINS is configured static and so they don't use the WINS servers
specified by the DHCP server. Is there a way to force the client to use the
WINS settings received by the DHCP? Can i do this using dhcp? some kind of
option.

i can run netsh int ip delete wins "networkconnection" all to remove these
settings.

I have about 28000 clients will the following command cause problems when i
use it as a start up script? By this i mean will it mess up the clients
configured correctly?

Kind regards,

Frederik De Muyter

I would try the script in a test enviroment. If a setting is set static on a
machine it can not be overriden unless that static value is removed. You
claim your script works so your on the right track. Test it, over and
over... see what the results are.

Good luck
