Thank you Phillip,
I'd better clarify my scenario (and the need for the subnet selection
option):
- remote GPRS clients authenticate on my network throuhg a Radius server
(IAS) that will give them ip addresses taken from a Windows 2003 DHCP server
- both the Radius server and the DHCP server are on the same subnet
- three scopes will be defined on the DHCP server, with different network
permissions (first scope: admin - full access, second scope: users, third
scope: guests)
in this case, the dhcp client is the Radius server, that is on the same
subnet of the dhcp server: how can I tell the dhcp server which scope to
take the the ip addres from ? I've read that in a similar scenario I could
pass the subnet selection option to the dhcp server, but I'm not sure the MS
2003 DHCP server understands it
thanx again
