DHCP setting question

Hello,

I'm looking for a description of the settings in Server 2003's DHCP
server.

Reason for asking is either I know what the setting means but not sure
the syntax or I'm not sure what the setting is or the last case. It
looks like 2 settings do the same so I'm not sure which to set.

I've looked at technet but didn't see what I was looking for. I may have
over looked it though.

Thank you,

TC

Could you please let us know what kind of settings you have in mind? Are you
talking about various DHCP options?

I was thinking the DHCP scope settings.

You have time servers and ntp servers
you have dns servers and name servers

There are several like that. Where by name they are they seem the same.
Or others that I can't find what they are or how to set the correct
syntax is. Like the time off set.

I hope that gives an idea what I mean. Those are just a few examples.

Thank you,

TC

Ok, now I know what you are referring to. I guess you can blame it on RFC:
http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2132.html
