Hello,

Is it possible to have mulitple dhcp scopes for muliple segments (separated
by VLANs)? I need to have to have 10.1 addresses to segement 1, 10.2 to
segment 2, and 10.3 to segment 3. I am aware that when a dhcp request is made
there is not a way for the host to specify which subnet it wants to be on.
If I have three NICs, each plugged in to segment 1, 2, and 3 will this solve
my problem? How would I set the ip addresses for the NICs?
Can I just set the IP address, subnet mask, and leave the default gateway
and dns server names blank?

Thank you
(NIC 2)

If you have three segments, then you must already have a Router between
them,...or you wouldn't be having them to begin with. So...

Setup the DHCP Server with a Scope for each subnet. Use only one nic, it
does not matter which subnet the DHCP Server is in. Configure the LAN
Router that is sitting between these segments to forward DHCP Queries to the
DHCP Server. The Router will indicate which segment the query came from so
the DHCP will know what segment it is dealing with.
