DHCP server, multiple NICs and scopes

I have added a second NIC to my Win 2003 server and I assigned it a static
address in a different subnet. I want to have the 2nd NIC serve IP
addresses in a different scope to a different subnet, e.g. addresses
192.168.100.xxx served via one NIC to one subnet and addresses
192.168.101.xxx served via the other NIC to the other subnet. I couldn't
figure out how to use the management tool to accomplish this.

Thanks,
Roger

You just create two Scopes,...one for each subnet,..that's it you're done.

However I would recommend you *not* use two Nics. Use one Nic and configure
your LAN Router to forward the DHCP Queries to the DHCP Server from the
other subnet. That is one of the standard jobs of a LAN Router.

You still create a separate Scope on the DHCP Server for each subnet the
same way. That's it,..there is nothing else.

My network has no router, it just has switches. So I repeat the original
question. Can I configure the server to use different NICs for different
subnets?

I already told you. It was the first line of my post.

"You just create two Scopes,...one for each subnet,..that's it you're done."

It will grant addresses from the scope that matches the Nic the request came
in on.
