dhcp server ip addresssing

laptops of any brnd having win xp pro not getting ip address from dhcp server
only gets 0.0.0.0 ip address.
evry thing is working fine with desktops.only laptops are not working well.
please tell me the solution

Run the winsockfix.exe , you can download it from internet
