Hi,

I'm trying to troubleshoot some issues on our network which are related to
DHCP options being retrived by the clients. Does anyone know of any way to
view which options have been retrieved by the client and what values have
been passed to it? any utilities or power toys?

Marcus

Which particular DHCP provided info are you having a problem with?

IPCONFIG /ALL will show you the DNS servers, WINS servers, Default Gateway,
NBS Node Type, and DNS Suffix that were assigned as well as which DHCP server
assigned them and when.

James,

We are trying to configure some Wyse terminals on the network and get them
to obtain the below DHCP options:

161 - FTP Server Name
162 - FTP Root Path
184 - FTP Username
185 - FTP Password

However things dont seem to be working as expected, so was wonding if there
was anything available which would show me the DHCP info. have to admit
never seen anything around.

You can use NETMON [network sniffer ] to capture dhcp packets and from there
you can read.
