dhcp reservations not working

Hi all, we have a 2003 server doing ris/dhcp on a 2000 AD Domain. During testing I set up a scope, excluded all addresses bar one and reserved it to the mac on a 3com card (entered mac without seperators). Since then the same IP address has been issued to a network printer, my laptop and a PC with an Intel nic!!!
This config worked perfectly on a 2000 ris/dhcp server. Please help.

Client reservations must be included in your scope.

Force a refresh on each of the conflicting devices.

Make sure you don't have more the one DHCP source giving out the same
addresses.
