DHCP Release IP addresses

Greetings,

My DHCP server is Win2003. Network is segmented into subnets by VLANs and
switches. When I move computers betw subnets the computer will still retain
IP address from old subnet and I have to release subnet manually. Computers
are mostly XP with some Win2K. DHCP lease renewal is set for 4 days. Is there
a DHCP setting that will allow address to release easier when moved from one
subnet to another?
Thanks
